Jackie received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northern Illinois University and her Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy from Governors State University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Jackie has been a therapist since 2017.
Jackie works with kids, couples, families, and individuals of all ages. She has experience with kids that have Autism and learning disabilities. Jackie works with clients experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, infidelity, ADD/ADHD, suicidal thoughts, schizoaffective disorder, adjustment disorders, and more.
Jackie utilizes several different techniques including: play therapy techniques, psychodynamic therapy, structural family therapy, solution-focused, Gottman techniques, and person-centered therapy.
Jackie is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She is also working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist and has completed Phase 1 of that process. Jackie is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and is trained in Brainspotting. She is also working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist and has completed Phase 1 of that process.
Jackie began her career with RISE in March 2022.
