Alyssa received her Bachelor of Arts from Central College and her Master of Arts in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Iowa. Alyssa has been a school counselor since 2017 and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (tLMHC) since September 2024.

Alyssa provides virtual counseling services at RISE. Alyssa has a lot of experience working with K-12 students on inattention, hyperactivity, as well as anxiety and mood disorders. Alyssa specializes in anxiety as well as crisis management and suicidal ideation.

Alyssa began her career with RISE in November 2024.
